The Journey

Any journey is an obstacle course whether by road, rail, water air or any other form of transport there is a destination and to get there, you pass through twists and turns, rough areas, a breakdown etc.

The entrepreneurship journey is like any other journey, it is full of obstacles. An obstacle could be anything that will try to take your focus off your destination. The most important part of any Journey is the destination. As and entrepreneur, your destination is in your mind, it is a mental picture that can be described with words but is mostly seen on the inside called a Vision or a dream and you journey everyday towards that dream to make it a reality day by day.

When you were young at some point in life you were introduced to a puzzle, in form of fun and games, now a puzzle has many pieces that need to be put together to form this one picture and each piece has to be in its correct place for the picture to be complete, and you use your imagination to put it together. The entrepreneurship journey is exactly like that, puzzle, you are putting together your mental picture in the real world.

Let’s say You have a picture in your mind of a house you want to live in and in your mind you have seen exactly how you want it, you have walked to and fro in that house in your imagination So you go and see an architect to put your vision on paper and you start putting the house together piece by piece.

That building is no different from a business, you see it, believe it, act on it. Most importantly just as the architect puts the vision on paper to guide your engineers to build the house, you also put it on paper in form of a business plan to guide you and your team.

Dont just journey, reach your destination, fight your battles, it is a puzzle, put it together piece by piece.
